Join me for today’s show, in the exploration of the upcoming Leo New moON on Saturday.  And it’s not just the New moON that is on my mind; it’s also Mercury Retrograde in Leo, TransPluto, Regulus, Elenin (still….), and–of course–Thor, and how he relates to them all.  Give a listen, learn a little, and let me know what it makes you think.

…..*****and, if you are inspired by this information, and would like to know how it is manifesting in your own chart/life, just contact me @ KOSMOGNOSIS@GMAIL.COM, and we can set something up******…….

Love,

Pluto destroys our routine: in the 6th, Mercury, or Virgo

Pluto destroys our routine: in the 6th, Mercury, or Virgo

We now discover the need to “hold it all together.” In the 6th house, we try our best to keep our lives in proper working order.  This includes our bodies, as well as our ‘outer’ lives.  Virgo, of course, relates to Service, Health, Healing, and Work, yet, there is something underlying these popular manifestations of Virgo, and it is Guilt.  Mercury involved with Pluto–like we saw with the Gemini–has to do with the Mind, and how it interacts with its surroundings.  Pluto creates trauma to our Rational Minds, it melts our Logic, and gives desperation and the fiendish need for the reason WHY (we must reorient ourselves).  WIth the Virgoan side of Mercury, Pluto steals away our sense of control.  Anxiety runs high here when unfortunate circumstances interfere with our tidy lil’ world; like when kids track mud, or you find out you have cancer spreading in your gut.   Without another word, lets allow Jeff Green to briefly illuminate:

Pluto in the Sixth House or Virgo: emotional trauma can occur to these individuals for the following causes:

1. When life conditions occur in which the individual experiences an intense lack of meaning, or when their life conditions become meaningless. This sense of lack, of an existential void, generates a total state of crisis. This crisis is one of feeling totally displaced on an environmental basis, and a sense of acute inner aloneness in which they can feel victimized by the life conditions that they are experiencing.

2. When life conditions occur in which the individual feels intense persecution or criticism of an unjust nature. Not being able to understand why these conditions are contracted generates the trauma.

When Pluto transits the Sixth House, forms stressful aspects to Mercury, or to the planetary ruler of the Sixth House, or to planets in the natal Sixth House these issues and subsequent traumas can occur.

Funny, but one thing Jeff fails to mention in this one, is the importance of Health.  In my practice, I have witnessed dozens of charts, in which people experience illness and healing crisis when Pluto is involved with this Archetype.  As an example, Pluto transiting though the 6th house. 9 times out of 10, I see some sort of serious health problem emerge during this time.  The purpose of this terrifying process, is to gain a greater appreciation and understanding of the body–and of life, in general.  Lots of these folks go on to become remarkable healers.  Another signature could be Pluto in the 6th house natally, and Saturn comes along via transit.  This too can cause lots of health issues. Or Pluto transiting over Mercury would be another potent example. The correlation between Health, Guilt, and Healing is a rich topic, and I feel all the fine strands of this dark and shimmering web lie in your own inquisitive mind.  If you or anyone else you know is experiencing this Plutonic event currently, make sure they know what is happening.  Enlighten them about the underlying cause of their ills.  Sometimes an Astrologer has just what it takes to dispel all the mistakes of the Mind.  Sometimes, this is exactly what someone needs.  Who said Astrology wasn’t healing?

…..as always, I’m offering Readings for all those interested.

Everything is wrong…but then again……..everything is right.

Everything is wrong…but then again……..everything is right.

When the mOon finds its way into Virgo every month, it soon then passes my Ascendent at 6 degrees Virgo.  This transition from the 12th house of Surrender, to the 1st House of “Sir and I dare,” has always been an adventure.  Yesterday, it was an understatement.  It was an entire day, where not one thing went right: Nothing!!!  I felt anger and sadness like never before.  And today, as the moOn gets more comfortable in this clever sign, I just installed my first harddrive–500 more gigs into this bad boy macbook.

Yup, pretty proud of myself.

…because, everybodies OK!!!! I am proud.

the challenges of the 6th

the challenges of the 6th

In the West, we think of the 6th house as Work and Service, but also as the health of the Body.

In the East, they relate to it similarly, but make subtle differences:

1. It is a Dussthana house.  Houses 3, 6, 8, 12 are all Dussthana houses.  They are ‘bad’ and bring misfortune.

2. Medical karma: ie. Illness and disease are all in the 6th house.

3. Armies and Open enemies too (the US has a ton of planets in Scorpio in the 6th….mmMMMmmmmm)

….I feel we can cross pollinate the two systems by saying, “The sixth house is all about “getting real” with ourselves, and with our work in the world.  If we arent “being real,” we then pay the consequences.

We get sick, we go to war, we over work, we stress, we  , and we don’t take care of our pets (another 6th house issue)

Also, being that Virgo rules over the 6th house, and Mercury rules it, there is an interesting combination between Earth   (Virgo) and Air (Mercury).  It brings the Mind into the earth.  It grounds us, so that we can actually make a difference.

Lots of doctors will have heavy VIrgo in their charts.  As do mechanics.

What is related to your 6th House?
