Our tanks may well be on empty today. Even though the Moon is moving into Aries on this sluggish Monday, the moOn is invisible from the sky, shedding all its beams in preparation for the New mOon on Wednesday. Make it through work, do what you need to do, and don’t push yourself beyond your capacity. Your adrenals may be weak today. Deep reflection is needed. Give it to yourself. With the fires of Aries being ignited in us, our sexual energies running over, and heart’s sagas overriding our senses, it is good to just beware of it all today. Reflect on the nature of your desire and attempt wholeheartedly to get clear about it.

The slick and smooth slide out of our stuffy cocoons is awakened today by the Moon’s trine to Pluto. With this gift of a glimpse of what it is we need to do in order to make the metamorphosis complete comes into focus with this subtle–or not so subtle–transit. As we lick the gunk from our fresh skin, our wings begin to stretch, and a surge of strength runs through our veins like molten metal, pulling out all of the impurities from our system. This is the gift of Mars and Jupiter creating a taurus field with their sextile harmony. The strength is in you, it has been awakened. The pounds begin to shed, your eyes glisten with excitement about what is going to now be done.

Weekly Astrology Report: Ascending
Week of Jan 21st-27th

Monday: Moon in Gemini

This week starts with a swiftly burning fuse, spiraling up and around our cervical vertebrae, heading for the space where thoughts are formed. With the Moon now in Gemini, the first thing she does is square Neptune. It is the feeling of reading too much, seeking out answers in words, and dropping in empty handed on the other side, shrugging your shoulders. Instead of shooting through the vata tunnel of your curious mind, find a turtle to ride, and take in the scenery around you. The answers are everywhere. The Gemini moOn will also trine (harmonize) with its ruler Mercury and the Sun in Aquarius, launching perfect curve balls of linguistic skills in to the minds of those around you. Today is a day for tea….with friends. Lots of tea.

Monday: Moon in Pisces
14th
This week begins with our pineal gland opening slowly and confidently towards the cosmos as the Moon moves into Pisces, passing over it’s ruler Neptune. The veils always feel thinner with this Moon. Great for dreaming. There is also two “quintiles” formed from Mercury towards Saturn and Uranus. This is a “minor aspect” I don’t explore much, but is still quite an interesting one. It relates to raw creativity, innovation and talent. Apply this logic to Mercury (mind) and Saturn/Uranus and you stumble into fresh alignments of discipline, brilliance, and the discoveries of the avant garde. Do everything different today. This is your task.
