Eclipse #2 of 2013 is upon us.  It is an Annular Solar Eclipse occurring in the Tropical sign of Taurus.  Aspected by many planets, creating quite the celestial drama for all of us earthlings.  These are my thoughts….:::

  Our tanks may well be on empty today.  Even though the Moon is moving into Aries on this sluggish Monday, the moOn is invisible from the sky, shedding all its beams in preparation for the New mOon on Wednesday.  Make it through work, do what you need to do, and don’t push yourself beyond your capacity. Your adrenals may be weak today.  Deep reflection is needed.  Give it to yourself.  With the fires of Aries being ignited in us, our sexual energies running over, and heart’s sagas overriding our senses, it is good to just beware of it all today. Reflect on the nature of your desire and attempt wholeheartedly to get clear about it.

The slick and smooth slide out of our stuffy cocoons is awakened today by the Moon’s trine to Pluto.  With this gift of a glimpse of what it is we need to do in order to make the metamorphosis complete comes into focus with this subtle–or not so subtle–transit.  As we lick the gunk from our fresh skin, our wings begin to stretch, and a surge of strength runs through our veins like molten metal, pulling out all of the impurities from our system.  This is the gift of Mars and Jupiter creating a taurus field with their sextile harmony.  The strength is in you, it has been awakened.  The pounds begin to shed, your eyes glisten with excitement about what is going to now be done.

Mercury Retrograde: towards Mount Pelion

mrx-spring-road-380x235

Exuberant is existence, time a husk.

When the moment cracks open, ecstasy leaps out and devours space;

love goes mad with the blessings, like my words give.

Why lay yourself on the torturer’s rack of the past and future?

The mind that tries to shape tomorrow beyond its capacities

will find no rest.

Be kind to yourself, dear—to our innocent follies.

Forget any sounds or touch you knew that did not help you dance.

You will come to see that all evolves us.

Rumi

Dervishe

         It is time for another spiral inwards.  This one going deep into the oceanic depths of our dream worlds.  When Mercury Retrograde travels  in the Tropical Sign of Pisces–the Archetypal sign of Dreams, Visions, Poetry, Music, Fame, Addiction, and Madness,  it brings all these themes to surreal and augmented states. (there are also 4 other planets in Pisces: Mars, Chiron, Neptune, and the Sun). With such concentration of Planetary Archetypes in one sign–the finish line of the Zodiac–it’s hard not to tell there is something significant going on here.
