This week begins with the Moon passing through the last degrees of Sag, surfing the wake of planetary swells from the weekend.  Don’t lose your balance on this one.  Follow through with all that you have already put in motion.  As the moOn moves through the last degrees of Sag (27-29 degrees) it also passes over the Galactic Center of the Milky Way.  The Cosmic Yoni, the Dark rift, the Center of it All.  Every month, when the Moon passes through these degrees, we are opened up and available for more satiable downloads about ourselves, our lives, and what in us needs to die.  It’s a profound area of the sky. Use this day wisely and attempt to open aspects of your Inner Universe you have never traveled to before.  Your breath is the key!

Tuesday: Moon in Capricorn

 April 2nd

Today is a serious journey.  One that starts with a  deceptively gentle beginning as we sip our morning tea (moON sextile Neptune).  In the middle of the day, this energy shifts when our laid back saunter vibe is electrocuted by a sudden blast of lightening from Uranus (squaring the Moon) which can bring anything into the ring.  This is how Uranus functions: Unpredictably.  Depending on how you handle the shock of your afternoon surprise, you may swiftly bring yourself back together only to be greeted by the moon’s pass over Pluto, darkening the optimism you may carry in your hearts chamber.  You aren’t doomed, but you need to look deep into the shadow.  Once truth is found in the confines of your deepest darkest parts, the half moOn will rise over the horizon, ushering in the last quarter of this Piscean lunation.  Phefff……it’s been a trip.

…only this comes to mind under this Capricorn moON:

Train roll on, on down the line,
Won’t you please take me far, far away.
Now I feel the wind blow, outside my door,
I’m leavin’ my woman at home, oh yeah.
Tuesday’s gone with the wind,
My baby’s gone, gone with the wind.
And I don’t know, oh, where I’m goin’.
I just want to be left alone.
When this train ends, I’ll try again.
I’m leavin’ my woman at home.
My baby’s gone

Tuesday’s gone with the wind.
Tuesday’s gone with the wind.
Tuesday’s gone with the wind.
My baby’s gone, with the wind.
Train roll on

Whenever the moOn is in its waning days, there can be a feeling of sluggish release.  An introverted time, where the mind is pointed in instead of out.  The desire to create art or just to meditate may come on strong.  This feeling is present today, but may get a awesome jolt as the moON dances perfection with its ruler Uranus (via sextile aspect).  However, there always needs to be a party pooper in life (“ that guy..”)–Saturn.  Later in the day, the moOn squares off with Saturn, creating friction around what we want to do and what we don’t. it’s always a good idea to do a little of what we don’t want to do.  ALways a wise move.  This Aquarian day will hopefully end by putting a smile on your face and a butterfly or two in your blooming belly as Luna harmonizes with Jupiter–the King of the Gods; the one who creates wonder in this thing called Life.  This is good.  This is love.  You are Love.

As the moOn wanes further towards her next New moon (which is Monday) she makes nice with Sun/Mars/Venus (all in Aries), asking questions about what it means to live in the game.  In this burst of Arian energy, our Inner God and Goddess (Mars/Venus) are on fire–and hopefully inspired to bring in a renewed strength into our lives.  The way it has been showing up in me and many around me is taking in our practices to the next level.  Hiking more, sweating more,, running more, and–also–within these cleansing flames, eating foods that are supporting us more in the release and rebuilding of your physical forms.  This is what the moOn reflects to us today.  Get off the wagon and into the trees.

Staring at the ceiling, we wonder in day dreams on this lazy Saturday: “What is my dream?” “What is it I really want from my life?”  As the moOn slow paddles past Neptune, the Lord of the Seas, a wet and misty message moseys on down, making us feel like staying in bed all day.  In this mystic wandering haze of the waning moOn’s motion, we are suddenly awakened to a conjunction between Venus and Mars(both in Aries), creating an erotic interstellar burst inside our hearts, making room for the next level of our sexual evolution to unfold.  Today could be a day of great reconciliation with a Beloved. Or not.

Mercury is retrograde!!!???  Hhahaa…I kid.  But, the moON does visit Mercury today in Pisces, bringing out a mirroring moment to sit deep in reflection of all that has happened to you in the past month.  I highly recommend taking this Sunday off.  Spend time by some water, spend some time alone, look to where Mercury traveled on its retrograde journey, and learn something new about yourself.  I can guarantee you are worlds apart from where you were in late February.   Epiphanies wait for their discovery on this day of rest.

Astrology of the “Aflockalypse”

Astrology of the “Aflockalypse”

…first of all: I can hardly handle this term! Adding a witty and playful edge to catastrophe is an immature attempt at covering up this detrimental event. Shame on them.

If you have yet to hear about the Aflockalypse, it is a phenomena relating to thousands of birds, fish, and other animals showing up dead all over the world: blackbirds falling from the sky by the thousands in Arkansa, Doves greeting a small Italian town like omens from the Gods…manatees, fish, crabs, etcetcetc (and I wonder: what about us, the humans…?). The strangest thing about it all (aside from no explanation), is that the animals are toxic.  Some of the birds are said to be liquefied by the time they hit the ground. What is happening? Google: HAARP testing, Chem trails, and MAss animal death, or visit my Facebook page, and you will be quick to know.  It seems to relate to government testing–and there’s hardly room for doubt.

I wanted to write this blog today for two reasons:

1. to Inform everyone about this…though you probably already know

2.  Show you a bit of the Astrology of Events.

It all began on 1:1:11 (what a way to start the new year eh),  just day’s before the Solar Eclipse in Capricorn. It’s important to note that it occurred between the Lunar Eclipse on the Solstice and the Solar Eclipse: this is called an Eclipse window–like being sandwiched between two markers or nodes of personal/collective evolutionary events. When looking at the chart (see above) you will notice lots happening in the sign of Capricorn: Mars, Sun, Pluto, the Northnode, with Mercury and the MoOn heading to the party. The Breakdown: Capricorn relates to Big world events, responsibility, credibility, and karmic lessons; Mars is action/will, the Sun is purpose/passion, Pluto is destruction/death/power, and the Northnode represents a portal of potentiality for the future, but also worldly hunger, desire.  Combining them all together in an Eclipse window, and you have created a strange brew of unpredictable flavor. It has been speculated by Astrologer’s for quite some time, that when the Dark King (Pluto) goes into Capricorn, the scary–yet liberating–results from all of our unsustainable actions will finally bear fruit (think: 2012).  The Aflockalypse isnt the first catastrophe since Pluto has been in Cap, we have also experienced Sara Palin, Obama, McCain, Economic disaster, the Oil spill, Earthquakes,  (a million things I’m leaving out), and the Aflockalypse.  And Pluto is only at 5 degrees Capricorn.  He will remain in this sign till the early 20′s; America will also have a Pluto return in these shadowy years ahead. What to expect? Transformation. Unpredictable by nature, and liberating by its very cause.  I simply can’t wait.  And It happens now!

…Our ancestors feared Eclipses–many still do. They thought they brought bad omens.  They also represented the fall of the King and natural disasters–esp. Earthquakes. INTERESTING….because the testing that involves chem trails and the HAARP antennas, has everything to do with controlling the weather and our environment.  It the desire of our government (and probably many others around the globe) to control the weather, in the attempt to avoid “natural disaster.” (Oh, can’t they see, Mother Nature will always keep the balance.  Why fight her? [maybe cuz they don’t believe there is a “her.”) And they dream:  How nice would it be if we could dissipate Hurricanes before they formed, or subdue earthquakes before they ever rumble.

In a nutshell:

We are no longer at a crossroads.  It seems as a whole, we have chosen: blood and tears is what the governments of the world unconsciously desire. Now the consequences.  For all of us, living simple lives, trying to find ourselves, this is a time of great revealing.  As things fall apart around us, it happens inside us too.  It’s a time of awakening.  And nobody ever said it was easy.  It’s Plutonic.  But really, he’s just an Illusion.  Take a look at the Sun in the chart, moving away from Pluto.  The Sun is our life force, it shows how we discover our True Selves.  Pluto has got his arms up.  Yin and Yang, Pluto and the Sun, always dancing: Life and Death. Sun ascends!

Keeping an eye of Jupiter and Uranus moving into Aries will also prove quite exceptional in the year to come.  Let’s just hope its not more violence and war. So we pray….

the Heat of Mars

…in the wake of the Solar Eclipse: Mars attacks

I have noticed lots of Mars issues popping lately: like mad dwarfs, with blood stained faces, grinning razor sharp teeth. Mars was conjunct the Eclipse on Tuesday–just a few degrees away from the Sun/Moon at 13 Capricorn. In a sense, he was leading the pack with a knife in his teeth. Mars brings the fire, the urges, all the desires up in flames,. Its hard to think clearly under his influence. Everything seems justified. We know we are possessed, but we can’t do anything about it. Traditionally, Mars also rules Scorpio (not just Aries), and I’ve been noticing ‘demons.” They are coming out (demons = Scorpio = Mars). I can see it in their eyes–in my partners, in my friends, even in perfect strangers. Now, I know I know, it’s probably just me projecting my own “stuff” out into the world–and I admit to this truth…to an extent–but I feel it’s more than that; it’s also Mars. People have been complaining about injuries, high blood pressure, headaches, and an iron taste in their mouth’s. What’s going on? It’s Mars, raising the stakes. He says, “You wanna evolve…? Well, deal with these Desires. Bet you thought you were beyond them…didn’t ya.” And we squeeze our fists, and then grit our teeth.

Remember: Eclipses are profoundly charged New and Full moOns. This past “New moon” (eclipse) was a Martian one. All in Capricorn, it relates strongly to the foundation we are creating for ourselves. A loose–and general–translation could be: it is the experience of not being where we think we should be, thus creating immense frustration and despair relating to the gap we see between where we stand and where we wanna be. This friction creates the heat, and its what makes our blood boil.

Be careful you guys. Mars also rules over accidents. Breathe. Just breathe. And breathe some more.

This too shall pass.

…give it a week.

the Mercury Rx

…it is the 4th day of the 4th retrogradation cycle of Mercury.  The year is 2010.  He is now at 5 degrees Capricorn, planning his trip back into Sagittarius.

Mercury retrograde is funny to me.  It’s one of those Astrological events that lots of non-Astrologer’s are aware of–much like the Saturn return or their Sun sign.  Mercury retro humors me because all the “textbook”  interpretations you hear about it are actually true.  I remember first reading about this phenomena when I was around 20.  The next day, my computer crashed (WIndows virus!).  And so it lingered and continued–on and off–throughout the years; I would both be noticing and sometimes ignoring his cycles.  As my Astrological practice deepened, and the more I watched Mercury, the more I understood.  He was making me smart.  I learned to Backup my hard drive–in more than one place; I started fixing my car–or at least getting it tuned up–before the cycles would start, I would also “unconsciously” start cleaning/reorganizing my life: my house, my computer, my clothes, my guitar, my notes, my songs, my entire wOrld!!! This time around (since Friday) it has been even more pronounced.  It actually began in his Shadow (see Image below) for me, when the energy started inspiring me and changing everything.  But when he actually went retrograde, it was hardly short of hilarious! My backups were disappearing, my computer was failing, the car was in the shop with spendy repairs, and my alarm died in the middle of the night, forcing me to miss an important reading the next morning–and this was only the tip.  Like I was saying, this is Mercury’s 4th retrograde of 2010.  Usually, Mercury only goes retro 3x for around 3 weeks.  This cycle is unique, no doubt……for a few reasons:

1. He Stationed (appeared to stop moving) at 5 degrees Capricorn, conjunct Pluto/Northnode/Mars. This is significant Why? This is the signature that is Destroying our world–inside and out–so that it can be born anew. He paid a visit and will be back, but for now, he must report to the Galaxy’s birth canal, in the hope he will be rewarded with copious amounts of Spiritual manna to make it back through the “hell hole” (Pluto/NN) in mid January, when the whole cycle ends.

2. He will pass the Sun on the 20th (day befor the Eclipse) at 27 Sag “the Center of the Milky way galaxy.” This is the Source of all Cosmic energy in our neck of the Universe. It’s Inspiration, Divine calling, and the Muse whispering softly in your ear.

3. He will also square Jupiter/Uranus in Pisces on the 22nd (day after the Eclipse).  Jupiter rules over Sag and is the facilitator for these Cosmic downloads. Palaver with the Guru–the one behind the curtain.

4. He will move forward again–going Direct–just before the New Year on the 3oth at 19 Sag, very close to “the Great Attractor.” Terence Mckenna talked about “the Great Attractor” as this vortex or Event Horizon, that looms at the End of History.  Not the End of the world, the End of history.(kinda like Time–at least our version of it).

...the Great Attractor, the Center of the Milky Way galaxy, and Mercury reconfiguring his Mental circuits.  What might this mean?  How does it affect me? Does it mean I will become Enlightened or learn something new about my place in the Cosmos?

maybe.

When Mercury is Retrograde–or any planet for this matter–he is resetting his Mental focus.  This means that our Interests can change.  It also means we will start seeing “things” from a slightly different vantage point. The goal is to See where we are going wrong–skimming over the details–and then to become inspired to cultivate the necessary cognitive awareness for those “skipped steps” we may have missed yesterday, and the day before.  It is my hope that by the end of this Mercury retrograde cycle–with the arrival of the New Year–brings profound awareness to where we have become rusty.  If you are reading this it means you are into Astrology.  This cycle could represent the arrival of new heights within your Astrological understanding; it also could represent the calling to take your study of the Science/Art more seriously.  It is my hope that whatever the Inspiration, you pay heed, and drink it’s every drop.

….The mercurial nectar is dripping from the stars; Pay heed!
