da Truth of Now

….windows are rolled down, Sun is setting high; Beltane is around the corner, and I’m fixin’ to die….

(metaphorically speaking–of course).

Mercury is now Direct in Aries, moving through the shadow casted by all the Light that was shone into our infinite minds during the retro period.  We are walking in grey matter with golden thought forms attempting new patterns and circulations within our mental circuitry.  It takes time.  New patterns, new ideas, new versions of our Self take time to settle, root, and grow.  Be patient with yourself.  You have till May 11th to fully integrate these new patterns, these new IDEAS, so don’t be impatient, or too hard on yourself.  Yet, just because we have till May 11th, it is no excuse for procrastination.  It is all happening NOW.  Now is all we have. And so we Embrace it!!!

a Circle around Venus

Currently, Venus is in Aries, at 7 degrees…she is squaring Pluto. Ummmmmm, ya:  Power struggles, Mind games, hidden agendas, and of course, financial problems are all showing their wicked teeth.  It’s a time of honesty.  We must be honest with not only ourselves, but with all of our friends and lover’s as well.  This is a time for Truth.  Nothing can remain hidden with this transit.  If it does, it will fester, and spread like black and cancerous mycellium.  It’s a time of purge.  Let it all out, without fear of judgement.  It’s funny how it works, but the more we lie to ourselves, the more we tend to lie to others.  This is a time of no lies or alibis.  It is my recommendation that naming the demon inside, giving it a voice, offering it what it wants, and being honest with it may be the best approach.  Learning how to work with our demons is the greatest gift we can offer ourselves.  If you think you are free, how can you escape? None of us are exempt from this dark and cathartic transit.  So make the most of it.  Be that change you wanna see in the world!

*Also, the Taurus Sun is trining Pluto.  This is assisting in the process tremendously in my opinion.  It is giving us a center, with just enough light to see what it is we are working with.  The nature of the Trine is also offering harmonious rays of strength by giving us vitality and stellar wisdom.  We are always supported by Spirit.  This is the Sun. Om…..

The moOn is also in Pisces, having just moved passed Neptune and Chiron.  Use your imagination and your dreams to assist you in this fast and not so subtle process of Transformation.  Sleep next to a notepad tonight, and make sure you jot your dreams down in the morning.  I can gaurentee there will be nuggets of wisdom in there, that will assist you through this challenging and cathartic period.

Torn between Worlds: Jupiter opposes Saturn

…: Late March 2011 Cosmic Weather

(It’s been awhile since I have posted, and I apologize, but Transition has been twirling me around by my top knot!)

As I write, the moON is at 4 degrees Aquarius, conjunct Palles Athene.  The Intellectual burst has arrived.  I’m ready to inform you about the exciting week we have ahead.

Today: March 28th

Saturn opposes Jupiter:

….this is the third Opposition of their 20 year cycle of Expansion and Contraction.  The first happened on the 22nd of May, 2010, and it happened at 27 Pisces/Virgo.  It was the entrance into the turbulent Summer months, where we were all testing our abilities to Redefine our borders, and to push beyond thee ol’ envelope in terms of what our Lives could look like.  The 2nd happened at the end of the Summer, on August 16th, at 2 degrees Aries/Libra.  The Change we were after was being tested–on a Global scale and also on our Personal spheres.  Now, its happening again, this time at 14 degrees Aries/Libra!!!

And…..What does it mean?

I recently read an article that was posted on a Scienctific website (maybe NASA website… sorry I don’t have the link, but you could ask the “Oracle), and the author of the article was talking about how this aspect is what causes the Earth to act up, in unexpected ways: Earthquakes, Floods, Volconoes etc…..The reason for this is the gravitational pull that exists between Saturn and Jupiter: the two biggest planetary bodies in our Solar System.  Oppositions create tension.  They are literally opposed to each other, pulling as if they were in a cosmic match of tug of war, and the Earth in in the center of the rope–a little pea at the midpoint. This is one way of looking at this transit, yet, another is on a more Archetypal level; one that is dancing in the invisible landscape of our hearts and minds.

When Jupiter and Saturn come together, they create the Star of Bethlehem.  It is the “star” that the 3 Wise men saw, that brought them to little baby Jesus.  It is a transit, that marks the beginning of a “sub-age” in a sense.  Jupiter begins testing the limitations and the Laws that Saturn has created and is always trying to uphold.  Jupiter represents Expansion of Mind and Spirit, and Saturn in the contraction, and the need to hold onto tradition and “what is.” As they move throughout their cycle, our world slowly changes.  Being that this cycle began in the Spring of 2000, in the wake of Y2k, we are now witnessing the Manifestation of the seed Idea that was planted in the Collective mind back then.  What was it? Fear? Computer mind? Technological hope for the cure of the world? Post post modernity? Whatever it was–or is–we are experiencing the fruition of the cycle….Today!!! Personally, I think it is a bunch of thangs, but could be summed up as: Electronic Social Media.  it has completely changed the world, and the way in which we communicate and are educated.  Shall continue–exponentially, into the Future!!!

…..Now, there is also a New moOn awaiting us on the 3rd of April, and it is in Aries.

What this means is that the polarity that naturally exists between Jupiter and Saturn right now, is a bit favored by Jupiter’s side!!! Why is this? Because there is a party in the Tropical sign of Aries right now: Sun, Moon, Uranus, Mars, Jupiter, Mercury, and the Trans-personal planet Eris. They are all supporting Jupiter’s pull towards victory.  There are no planets currently in Libra, assisting Saturn and his cold, desperate tugging. Aries is all about Personal Freedom and Creativity.  Libra, at its essence, is “Other.” Because of this, it tends to relate strongly to our Relationships in life–our Intimate relationships!!! Meaning…..Love shall be tested.  The whole world is experiencing this transit, and we are all being called to our True Selves.  If our Lover’s are limiting this Call, they will be left in the dust. On the plus side, many new alliances shall be formed.  If we pay attention to this Call of the Wild, we will find those who have been waiting for us all along. Also, I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t a sexual time.  All of these planets in Aries, being supported by the birds and bees buzzing, our lower chakras, our animal nature is being rekindled.  We are awakening.  Mars is dancing and stomping in blurring circles around his primordial fire, getting ready for the changes that await us.  Be prepared, be eager, and be careful….because Mercury is about to go Retrograde!!!

Mercury Retrograde in Aries

(March 30th–April 23rd; 24 Aries–12 Aries)

There is nothing be afraid of.  Mercury Retrograde is an essential seasonal time for us to Reflect, Reconfigure, and Repeat many patterns we have skimmed over while he has been Direct.  Of course, it is always wise to back up your computer, fix your machines, and reorganize your house, but its not the essence of the Retro cycle.  The ultimate purpose is Re-visit and Remember.  There are no shortcuts in Life.  They only slow us down.  So….with Mercury being Retrograde in the midst of the Aries party–dancing around Eris especially– we are faced with our own personal Discordia (our Chaos!) Eris is the Goddess of Discord, and represents many of the Lost parts of our Psyche.  We are challenged to put together a puzzle of Self in the midst of raging Fires while walking upon hot, blistering lava flow.  I intuit that we will feel Time speeding up in the next 3 weeks.  We will be inspired, we will fall in Love, and we will be making lots of mistakes.  It’s ok.  Forgive yourself now! Life is too short for regrets.  Just know, there is a reason for all of your mistakes: they are Teachers, and no amount of money or time could ever replace our stupid mistakes in Life.

Left eye twitching

Left eye twitching

…my left eye has been twitching a lot lately.  I have also noticed, that I’m not the only one.  I have met at least a half dozen other people who are experiencing the same symptoms. What does this mean? Does it mean anything? What do we all have in common? Is there a transit that supports this? Initially, I think of Jupiter who has just moved into Aries, being that he rules over the Liver and the Eyes, he was my first place to look for answers.  And I think I’m onto something….

What follows is the Science and Superstition around the Left eye twitch! It all relates strongly to where I’m currently at.  Jupiter is going to move into my 8th house very soon and I can feel the looming event of “stranger” or “significant other” coming into my life.  I also feel the auspicious and inauspicious qualities that seem to contradict each other from China, Hawaii, and  India which relate to money and resources.

Left Eye Twitching – What Does It Mean

Left Eye Twitching Superstition –

China: An old Chinese saying about twitching eyelids says that “the twitching of the left eyelid indicates the coming of good fortune; while the right one is a warning about the coming bad luck.” So while a twitch in the left eye indicates good luck or even a major gold rush, a twitching right eye is considered a bad omen which foretells of ill luck headed your way! In women the tables are turned as a twitching right eye signifies good luck while a twitching left one is considered a bad prognostic. Similarly, there are many assumptions of eyelid twitching causes and superstitions where a twitch in the lower left eyelid means you can expect to cry soon or someone is gossiping about you.

Left Eye Twitching Superstition –

India: The Indian left eye twitching superstition is the reverse of the Chinese version. So in India a twitching right eye is definitely a good sign while the left eye twitching is considered inauspicious. At times, eye twitching can also be based on the gender as well, so while left eye twitching is considered good for women it might be a bad sign for men.

Parts of Africa: In certain parts of Africa, twitching in your lower eyelid signals that you will soon be shedding tears or when the upper eyelid twitches, it’s a sign you will meet someone unexpectedly.

Hawaii: In Hawaii twitching eyes can signal the arrival of a stranger, or a mourning in the offing.

In addition to these faith and beliefs, there are some other versions of the left eye twitching superstition where a constant twinging of your left eye might signal a demise in the family or the twitching of the right may signal an impending birth. Read more on bad luck superstitions.

Left Eye Twitching Causes

Although the left eye twitching bad luck or good luck superstitions might make for a good reading, there is a scientific reason behind left eye twitching. Involuntary eye twitching also referred to as eye muscle spasm can be attributed to a eye problem known as blepharospasm. The condition is actually caused by uncontrollable contractions of the muscles around the eyelids. This chronic, uncontrollable blinking of the eyes is the result of dry eyes, conjunctivitis or light sensitivity. In addition to this there are many brain or neurological disorders like epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, Tourette syndrome or certain eye allergies and injuries.

Eye twitches can also be caused by certain conditions such as stress, air pollution, strained eyes or fatigue. If it is an extreme condition you need to consult a doctor who might prescribe oral medications or certain eye drops. In an extreme case, myectomy or surgery for treating blinking eyes may have to be performed to cure the excessive twitching of the eyes. However, general twitching in the eyes can be cured with plenty of rest and cutting down on certain things like smoking, caffeine or alcohol.

Eye twitching, eyelid tics and spasms are pretty common. Usually only the bottom lid of one eye is involved, but the top eyelid also can twitch. Most eye twitches come and go, although they can last for weeks or even months.

Here are the main “Scientific” causes of the Twitch:

• Stress
• Tiredness
• Eyestrain
• Caffeine
• Alcohol
• Dry eyes
• Nutritional imbalances
• Allergies

Almost all sudden-onset eyelid twitching is benign, meaning the condition is not serious or a sign of a medical problem. However, this kind of eye twitching also can be hard to treat. The only option for making the twitching stop may be to figure out the cause and deal with it.

More serious forms of eyelid twitching are caused by neurological conditions such as blepharospasm or hemifacial spasm. These conditions are much less common and should be diagnosed and treated by an eye doctor.

Illumination of the causes:

Stress: While we’re all under stress at times, our bodies react in different ways. Eye twitching can be one sign of stress, especially when it is related to vision problems such as eye strain (see below). Reducing the cause of the stress can help make the twitching stop.

Tiredness: A lack of sleep, whether because of stress or some other reason, can trigger eyelid spasms. Catching up on your sleep can help.

Eyestrain: Vision-related stress can occur if, for instance, you need glasses or a change of glasses. Your eyes may be working too hard, triggering eyelid twitching. Computer eye strain from computer use is also a very common cause of vision-related stress.

If your eyelid twitching is persistent and very annoying (like the problem experienced by my patient’s wife), you should have an eye exam, because you may need vision correction. If you spend a lot of time on the computer, you also should consider talking to your eye doctor about special computer eyeglasses.

Caffeine and alcohol: Many experts believe that too much caffeine and/or alcohol can trigger eye twitches. If your caffeine (coffee, tea, soda pop, etc.) and/or alcohol intake has increased, cutting back is worth a try.

Dry eyes: More than half the older population experiences dry eyes, due to aging. Dry eyes also are very common for people who use computers, take certain medications (antihistamines, antidepressants, etc.), wear contact lenses and consume caffeine and/or alcohol. If you are tired and under stress, you also may develop dry eye. It’s best to see your eye doctor for a dry eye evaluation, because many treatments are now available.

Nutritional imbalances: Some reports indicate a lack of certain nutritional substances, such as magnesium, can trigger eyelid spasms. Although these reports lack scientific evidence, I can’t rule this out as a possible cause of eyelid twitching. If you suspect a nutritional deficiency may be affecting you, however, I suggest talking this over with your family doctor for expert advice rather than randomly buying over-the-counter nutritional products.

Allergies: People with eye allergies can have itching, swelling and watery eyes. When eyes are rubbed, this releases histamine into the lid tissues and the tears. This is significant, because some evidence indicates that histamine can cause eyelid twitching.

To offset this problem, some eye doctors have recommended antihistamine eye drops or tablets to help some eyelid twitches. But remember that antihistamines also can cause dry eyes. It’s best to work with your eye doctor to make sure you’re doing the right thing for your eyes.

Astrology of the “Aflockalypse”

Astrology of the “Aflockalypse”

…first of all: I can hardly handle this term! Adding a witty and playful edge to catastrophe is an immature attempt at covering up this detrimental event. Shame on them.

If you have yet to hear about the Aflockalypse, it is a phenomena relating to thousands of birds, fish, and other animals showing up dead all over the world: blackbirds falling from the sky by the thousands in Arkansa, Doves greeting a small Italian town like omens from the Gods…manatees, fish, crabs, etcetcetc (and I wonder: what about us, the humans…?). The strangest thing about it all (aside from no explanation), is that the animals are toxic.  Some of the birds are said to be liquefied by the time they hit the ground. What is happening? Google: HAARP testing, Chem trails, and MAss animal death, or visit my Facebook page, and you will be quick to know.  It seems to relate to government testing–and there’s hardly room for doubt.

I wanted to write this blog today for two reasons:

1. to Inform everyone about this…though you probably already know

2.  Show you a bit of the Astrology of Events.

It all began on 1:1:11 (what a way to start the new year eh),  just day’s before the Solar Eclipse in Capricorn. It’s important to note that it occurred between the Lunar Eclipse on the Solstice and the Solar Eclipse: this is called an Eclipse window–like being sandwiched between two markers or nodes of personal/collective evolutionary events. When looking at the chart (see above) you will notice lots happening in the sign of Capricorn: Mars, Sun, Pluto, the Northnode, with Mercury and the MoOn heading to the party. The Breakdown: Capricorn relates to Big world events, responsibility, credibility, and karmic lessons; Mars is action/will, the Sun is purpose/passion, Pluto is destruction/death/power, and the Northnode represents a portal of potentiality for the future, but also worldly hunger, desire.  Combining them all together in an Eclipse window, and you have created a strange brew of unpredictable flavor. It has been speculated by Astrologer’s for quite some time, that when the Dark King (Pluto) goes into Capricorn, the scary–yet liberating–results from all of our unsustainable actions will finally bear fruit (think: 2012).  The Aflockalypse isnt the first catastrophe since Pluto has been in Cap, we have also experienced Sara Palin, Obama, McCain, Economic disaster, the Oil spill, Earthquakes,  (a million things I’m leaving out), and the Aflockalypse.  And Pluto is only at 5 degrees Capricorn.  He will remain in this sign till the early 20′s; America will also have a Pluto return in these shadowy years ahead. What to expect? Transformation. Unpredictable by nature, and liberating by its very cause.  I simply can’t wait.  And It happens now!

…Our ancestors feared Eclipses–many still do. They thought they brought bad omens.  They also represented the fall of the King and natural disasters–esp. Earthquakes. INTERESTING….because the testing that involves chem trails and the HAARP antennas, has everything to do with controlling the weather and our environment.  It the desire of our government (and probably many others around the globe) to control the weather, in the attempt to avoid “natural disaster.” (Oh, can’t they see, Mother Nature will always keep the balance.  Why fight her? [maybe cuz they don’t believe there is a “her.”) And they dream:  How nice would it be if we could dissipate Hurricanes before they formed, or subdue earthquakes before they ever rumble.

In a nutshell:

We are no longer at a crossroads.  It seems as a whole, we have chosen: blood and tears is what the governments of the world unconsciously desire. Now the consequences.  For all of us, living simple lives, trying to find ourselves, this is a time of great revealing.  As things fall apart around us, it happens inside us too.  It’s a time of awakening.  And nobody ever said it was easy.  It’s Plutonic.  But really, he’s just an Illusion.  Take a look at the Sun in the chart, moving away from Pluto.  The Sun is our life force, it shows how we discover our True Selves.  Pluto has got his arms up.  Yin and Yang, Pluto and the Sun, always dancing: Life and Death. Sun ascends!

Keeping an eye of Jupiter and Uranus moving into Aries will also prove quite exceptional in the year to come.  Let’s just hope its not more violence and war. So we pray….
