Nessus and our Collective Fatigue

Nessus and our Collective Fatigue

…In deep reflection on last Saturday’s Full moOn in Aquarius (20 degrees), I have found it strange and intriguing that so many have reported intense fatigue and depression–including myself! Contrary to the nature of Aquarius and the Full moON, the celebrations were curbed to the wayside.  Looking deeply into the chart of that day, I found it a challenge to figure out exactly what was going on, but then I listened to Eric Francis’ Planet Waves podcast, where he was talking about the nature of Nessus, and then my understanding ignited like a fire originating from the base of my spine.  Nessus is another eccentric visitor/centaur, much like Chiron, who is currently transiting at 21 degrees of Aquarius (just a degree away from where the previous Full mOon was.  What is also interesting about this area of the zodiac, is that it is also the Midpoint of the Pluto/Uranus square (the “2012 aspect” many Astrologer’s are talking about, which is creating this feeling of Revolution in the air).  Midpoints are integration points between planets.  You can use them in both Transits and in the natal chart, and they reveal an ultra sensitive point on “integration” for the relationship between two planets/Archetypes! Now, in this blog, I want to give you a background on Nessus, and then offer some of my musings and experiences that I have had since my reluctant discovery of this powerful Archetype in the sky….

Astronomy of Nessus

Astronomically, Nessus has a very elliptic orbit of about 124 years. It crosses the orbits of Uranus and Neptune but does not touch the sphere of Saturn’s orbit and only just enters the inner sphere of Pluto’s orbit; not crossing either in the process. It is important to note this as a planet’s orbit signifies its characteristics. For instance Nessus’s orbit suggests a Uranus/Neptune/Pluto influence.

The centaurs are kinda like strange octaves of Pluto, dynamically and physically. They are cometary visitors in our lives, full of magic power, and maybe like shamans are today figures of forgotten times and lands, psychopomps, that catalize our soul life. Astronomically, they cross the realm of the giant planets, travelling among them. Their orbits are chaotic, unstable, “in pain”. They are objects from afar running amok in a realm which is not theirs, coming to the Sun at right angles instead of circling it, and, unlike the other planets, they will die soon. This is the price they pay for their freedom.
Juan Antonio RevillaSan José writes, “Imagine their orbits: they are very elongated, coming “squarely at us” and moving very fast, as they approach their closest distance to the Sun… even –at least in Chiron’s case– displaying a coma, an “aura” of “numinosity”, and then begin to go away from us almost to disappear in very slow motion. This type of movement  is a catalizer, it “hits”, opens, awakens, and, like the arrows of Hercules, inflicts pain, even to the point of desolation and death.    This is why the centaurs can releive us from our pain and heal, not in the way of the doctor, but in the way of the shaman.”

…hopefully, I still have your interest, because the Mythology weaving into the Astrology is even more fascinating!

MYTHOLOGY OF NESSUS

(taken from Juan Antonio RevillaSan José’s articale on Nessus from http://www.expreso.co.cr/centaurs/articles.html)

To understand Nessus’ mythology, we need to re-introduce Heracles (Hercules.) (Hercules figures into the stories of just about every centaur, it seems.)
In one story, Heracles was very attracted to a young virgin by the name of Deianera, and so he slept with her….and then agreed to marry her. In another story (which may not conflict with the former story at all,) Heracles married Deianera because, while he was in the underworld, he promised Deianera’s dead brother that he would. Anyway, Eurytion (another Centaur…possibly one of the as yet unamed ones) asked for Deianera’s hand in marriage, and her father consented (perhaps he was afraid of saying no to a Centaur?) Well, Heracles found out, burst angrily into the wedding celebration, killed Eurytion, and took Deianera to be his bride.
I am not sure if Heracles was on his honeymoon or not, but he and his new wife had to cross a river that was overflowing. Nessus, according to the myth, offered to ferry Heracles’ wife across a river…..and when he reached the other side, tried to rape her. Heracles, quite naturally enraged, shot Nessus with a poison arrow. As Nessus lay dying, he told Heracles’ wife that, should Heracles ever be unfaithful, she could bring him back to her by placing the blood-soaked cloak (now on Nessus’ back) over Heracles’ shoulders. (In some of the more graphic stories, though, it was a mixture of his blood and semen that Nessus told Deianera to scoop up….and to put on a cloak one day should Heracles stray in his affections.) Years later, she remembered Nessus’ words, and did precisely that. But Nessus lied….on his death bed, he wanted revenge. The cloak caused Heracles to burn up with flames of magic, and he was in terrible pain. Hera finally relented, allowed his physical body to die on earth, and translated him to Mount Olympus where he was made one of the gods for all time. (Something to ponder….it was Nessus’ poisonous act that, in actuality, healed the feud between Hera and Heracles.) It is interesting that, many years earlier, Zeus had told Heracles that he would be killed by a dead enemy!

(more from Jose…):

In the very little time since its discovery in 1993, Nessus has been associated with bad and ugly things, primarily coming from the mythological association it has with poison and death, and the proximity of its orbit to Pluto. This associations have been confirmed by observation, but have precluded an understanding of the process involved. This happens when mythology is used too literally.
Take the story of Deianira, for example; isn’t it also a part of the Nessus dynamics? Heracles, Nessus and Deianira are a triangle, a unity, like three aspects of the same thing. Heracles is a very violent and primitive “raw” type, hardly an archetype for humanity… it is more an archetype of what is raw in us, like a mythological counterpart of the centaurs. His ways are violently cruel and deadly like the creatures he kills.
We must see the whole process involved and not only the negative part. What is the dynamics of Nessus that manifests itself in a monstrous, poisonous way? The vulnerability of Deianira, Nessus lust, and Heracles rawness are part of the same cruel story. If I take Heracles as “raw” humanity, then the “bad blood” associated with Nessus is the consequence or continuation of the cruelty and violence that Heracles represents. What Nessus does is leave Heracles violence and cruelty naked, which means he could be the cure, for example, not only the disease. Like an homeopathic remedy or a vaccine, the disease has to come out in order to heal it…
History and the past, from a psychological point of view, are alive, not dead, and will “come to hunt us” as if from the future or from “destiny”, but it is really the unredeemed past transformed into something that seems to poison us. However, we are the poison, we created it. Nessus “beast” is our creation, and he will do what he was programmed to do. Our dark and raw past is not that bad. Inside of it, in its heart, is the vulnerability of Deianira, our inner child…
Nessus as the Beast!
Wild beasts may be an excellent example of our relationship with Nessus. The beast is in all of us; but it is this beast that teach us the beauty and the harmony of life. For example: when you have a very intense and prolonged (physical or emotional) pain you are in hell, and would like to die, but when it goes away you are able to feel the beauty and the immensity of the most simple things of life. When we learn to face our Beasts–our demons–we essentially are facing fear, and ask yourself, “When was the last time you faced a fear and werent rewarded???”
We can learn to respect the wild, as we learn to respect darkness, and death. The Centaurs, as our Inner Shaman visitors, confront us with all our most venomous aspects of self.  They show us our deepest personal lies, and where the healing most take place.  With Nessus, there seems to be a strong correlation with the re-visitation of a ghost of the past, to pay its karmic dues, much like with Hercales death in cause of the spell. Through our repressed memories and emotions, monsters are created, and Nessus seems to relate to the process strongly.  (Which I will talk about more in a second…)

The Astrology of Nessus
Astrologically, wherever Nessus is placed in the chart is where we need to deal with issues of power and lust. It is where we feel deeply hurt and in need of revenge or where we may become obsessed about a person or about getting even. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. Remember, Nessus was the cause of Hercules’ death after he himself had died. And so it is here that we may have to deal with issues relating to the past or that we may have inherited from previous generations. It is where we need to work hard to understand our motives and to consider our actions in order to be able to make the transition and to move on to a new stage in life. How easy or difficult this is will depend on the aspects from Nessus to planets in the natal chart, in particular to the personal planets and angles.

…Note: Again, The Full moON was on Nessus on Saturday, along with it being conjunct between the Uranus/Pluto square!!!

::::::Like being cloaked….in a blood & semen soaked talisman,

We were up in flames Saturday

and may still be feeling the burn::::::

….for me, 21 degrees falls in my 6th house (The House of Healing).  Last night, when I was in a potent meditation under the Pisces moOn, watching the Persiads go off, I had an epiphany about how Nessus is functioning in my own life. Through my own experience, hopefully you can gain some insight into your own experience!

My realization came directly through the eyes of both Uranus and Pluto, and how they have been reworking me for the past decade or so.  Pluto is currently leaving my 4th house, where he has been since the late 90′s.  This was a time of great change in my life, mainly because my best friend and my father died in this chapter of my life, which completely transformed my relationship to both myself, and my idea of what “family”/”home” means. Uranus (who is squaring Pluto currently) is attempting to leave my 7th house (the House of Love), where he was been since 04′.  This was a time of my life where intimate relationships came to the forefront of my life for the first time.  Ever since then, I have been “upgrading” (Uranus) my intimacy skills by having not been out of a relationship since the beginning of the Transit! The combination between these two themes–transforming my relationship to home, and swiftly evolving my spirit through intimacy–has taken quite a toll on my physical health.  This is where Nessus comes in! By constantly moving my home, changing my environments, and alotting nearly all of my energy into “Other,” I have been overtaxed and perhaps wounded!  My health, my reserves, my rhythym, have all been altered.  I felt it Saturday with the Full moON, and I saw it clearly last night in my meditation.  The cloak of Nessus is draped over my shoulders, and if I’m not careful from this point forward, I will be dis-eased.  I actually had a vision of Nessus in my meditation, and he was pointing to areas of my body, that are influenced by my psychology.  He told me that is I did not change, I would fall ill, and possibly even die.  Having this insight was of course sobering, but it was ultimatley liberating. With awareness, we change. Thank you Nessus!

Looking back to Saturday, think deeply into what could have been the origin of your suffering.  What is causing this fatigue? Why have we lost some of our inspiration? Where is the Cancer growing? All these questions point directly to Nessus.  And he waits for you with his nasty magical cloak, wanting you to try it on, for the sake of remembering….for the sake of healing! Don’t be shy.

the Path of Neptune….oOo

the Path of Neptune….oOo

” Love is fearless in the midst of the sea of fear.”

Rumi

…as of the 6th of August, Neptune has moved back into Aquarius in its Retrograde motion.  This Transpersonal planet gave us an elusive taster of what is to come, once “she” decides to fully unleash the power of the ocean on our Collective imagination when she finally stays in her own sign of Pisces (this will occur of February 4th, 2012).  This “re-visiting” of Neptune in Aquarius allows for us to plan, network, and envision our unmanifested future for just a tad longer. In this blog, I want to talk about Neptune, as a spiritual Path, and how it’s lessons may look, and why it sometimes feels like we are drowning.

Before any of my musings, here is a lengthy, yet thorough explanation of the nature of Neptune by Richard Tarnas, from his exellent site Archai.org!:

Neptune
“Neptune is associated with the transcendent, spiritual, ideal, symbolic, and imaginative dimensions of life; with the subtle, formless, intangible, and invisible; with the unitive, timeless, immaterial, and infinite; with all that which transcends the limited literal temporal and material world of concretely empirical reality: myth and religion, art and inspiration, ideals and aspirations, images and reflections, symbols and metaphors, dreams and visions, mysticism, religious devotion, universal compassion. It is associated with the impulse to surrender separative existence and egoic control, to dissolve boundaries and structures in favor of underlying unities and undifferentiated wholes, merging that which was separate, healing and wholeness; the dissolution of ego boundaries and reality structures, states of psychological fusion and intimations of intrauterine existence, melted ecstasy, mystical union, and primary narcissism; with tendencies towards illusion and delusion, deception and self-deception, escapism, intoxication, psychosis, perceptual and cognitive distortions, conflation and confusion, projection, fantasy; with the bedazzlement of consciousness whether by gods, archetypes, beliefs, dreams, ideals, or ideologies; with enchantment, in both positive and negative senses. The archetypal principle linked to Neptune governs all nonordinary states of consciousness, as well as the stream of consciousness and the oceanic depths of the unconscious. Characteristic metaphors for its domain include the infinite sea of the imagination, the ocean of divine consciousness, and the archetypal wellspring of life. It is, in a sense, the archetype of the archetypal dimension itself, the anima mundi, the Gnostic pleroma, the Platonic realm of transcendent Ideas, the domain of the gods, the Immortals. In mythic and religious terms, it is associated with the all-encompassing womb of the Goddess, and with all deities of mystical union, universal love, and transcendent beauty; the mystical Christ, the all-compassionate Buddha, the Atman-Brahman union, the union of Shiva and Shakti, the hieros gamos or sacred marriage, the coniunctio oppositorum; the dreaming Vishnu, maya and lila, the self-reflecting Narcissus, the divine absorbed in its own reflection; Orpheus, god of artistic inspiration, the Muses; the cosmic Sophia whose spiritual beauty and wisdom pervade all.
Considered as a whole, these themes, qualities, and figures suggest that the name Neptune is both apt and inadequate in denoting a mythological figure embodying the planet’s corresponding archetypal principle. On the one hand, central to the observed characteristics is an underlying symbolic association with water, the sea, the ocean, streams and rivers, mists and fogs, liquidity and dissolution, the amniotic and prenatal, the permeable and undifferentiated. In this regard, one thinks of the many oceanic and watery metaphors used to describe mystical experience, the all-encompassing ocean of divine consciousness of which our individual selves are but momentarily separate drops, the ceaselessly flowing all-informing Tao whose waterlike fluidity evades all definition, the primordial participation mystique of undifferentiated awareness, the mists of prehistory, the amniotic fetal and infantile states of primary fusion, the oceanic realms of the imagination, the fluid nature of psychic life generally: the flow and stream of consciousness, the influx of inspiration, the fog of confusion, drowning in the treacherous deep waters of the unconscious psyche, slipping into madness or addiction, surrendering to the flow of experience, dissolving into the divine union, the cleansing waters of purity and healing, melted ecstasy, and so forth. One thinks here, too, of Freud’s reference to the “oceanic feeling”: “a sensation of ‘eternity,’ a feeling as of something limitless, unbounded— as it were, ‘oceanic’. . . it is the feeling of an indissoluble bond, of being one with the external world as a whole.” Equally relevant is William James’s image of a transcendental “mother-sea” of consciousness with which the individual consciousness is continuous and of which the brain essentially serves as a sieve or filtering conduit (Cosmos and Psyche, 96-97).
Many of these associations are empirically related to important phenomena surrounding the Discovery of Neptune.”

Surfing Neptune:

…It is essential to understand Neptune in both the Natal chart and through Transits! Now, this may be true with all the planets, but with Neptune, it is truly where we may be sleeping, so its vital to put awareness on this area of the chart, so that we don’t run into walls, or get taken advantage of.  Neptune in the chart–at least in its more shadowy way of expressing itself–is naivety and neglect! Bringing awareness to this part of ourselves is essential for the growth of the Individual.  And in waking up Neptune from it’s dreaming state, we then access all of its oceanic power and mystical potential.  Neptune relates to the “collective unconscious” mind, the masses, and our own connection with Spirit.  On all three of these levels, the material which binds them, is the mystery of Neptune.  It is a truly mystical energy.  This is why I say “Tao.”

Let’s say we are looking at a person’s chart, and by conversing with them, we realize that they have “awakened” to their Neptune in their chart; it doesn’t seem that the aspect of “neglect” is expressing itself too strongly, yet, they have a powerful Neptune transit happening in their chart.  For example, Neptune is transiting into their 7th house, and they are curious about their love life.  What do you tell them? What do you ask? For starters, it’s also important with Neptune to gauge a person’s connection to Spirit and Surrender.  If they seem to be in a “trusting” state, they are already doing the work.  But the types of experiences that can manifest during this time for the native is: disillusionment with others–esp. lovers, fantasies about love, dreams of constant longing, mystical breakthroughs in relationships, in sex, and understanding another; it is also a time of deep surrender in the arms of a lover; if a person isn’t with someone at the beginning of this transit, they are definitely in their imagination, dreaming them up. No matter what seems to be expressing itself, it still depends on the rest of their chart, and also the choices they have made within the experience.  The goal of Neptune through any of the transits is complete humbling of the “ego,” and a realization that everything is working out perfectly. Nothing is broken, nothing is lost, everything is on track, everything is perfect! It’s universal, it’s everywhere, and in everything.  We cannot escape Neptunes Path, nor are we supposed to! We must align ourselves to it, and be patient with the gifts of Ka’s will.  Only then will we experience the true Oneness we are all always craving.  And it must be sought after without the help of drugs and alcohol! These are Neptunian tricksters, and can lead us down back alley’s in scary neighborhoods within the netherworlds.  So beware FOOL! We are all foolish in the arms of Neptune!

(you can apply this logic to your understanding of all the areas of the chart, and see how this oceanic power is humbling the ego, and inspiring the Spirit!)

Like I mentioned earlier, Neptune just moved back into Aquarius, and will remain until February.  What does this mean? Well, its a re-visitation to the Archetype of Aquarius (which relates to plans for the future), so that we can hopefully better prepare for the wrath of Mother nature over the next 14 years (the length of time Neptune will be in Pisces, its own sign).  Both Neptune and Pisces relate to “Truth,” a truth, where nothing is relative.  Its Nature untamed.  When Neptune moves for good into Pisces, I feel it is the window we have all been speculating about, which relates to Peak oil, the melting of the polar caps, pollution in all of the world’s water, massive extinctions to aquatic species, etc, etc, etc…As Maurice Fernandez says in his wonderful book on Neptune, “it is the end of hope, and the beginning of Truth.” We have been blindly destroying this Earth at a neck breaking speed since the Industrial Revolution (the time of the last Neptune and Pisces experience) and now, is the time of “truth.”

What will it really look like? I have no idea, but there is no transit in the sky that I am more excited for! It’s a time of awakening, of coming together, where individualistic society melts into the collective, and reforms itself on the foundations of spiritual insight and experience.  It’s a time of reconnecting to Nature and remembering who we really are.  It could even relate to aliens….an idea, I’m a lil’ partial too! lol……Neptune in Pisces is nothing to be afraid of.  We human’s have forgotten, and the time has come for great remembering.  Embrace it, and rise higher than you have ever been before.

Remember, wherever this is happening in your chart, relates to where in your life you will be experiencing the most effects of this potent transit. If you are more curious about Neptune in your chart, and maybe how this Transit if affecting your life, please contact me at KOSMOGNOSIS@GMAIL.COM, and we can set up a Neptune specific reading, to help bring clarity to this foggy Archetype!

the Leo Full Moon: 2.17.11

the Leo Full Moon: 2.17.11

the Leo Full Moon:

“the Leap of Faith”

This one is going to be a dowsy…….heres the chart (from my current location):

This Full Moon is at 29 Leo on the fixed star Regulus, the brightest in constellation Leo. It happens at 4:32 am on the 18th, Eastern Standard time…. Regulus is a star that relates Big Heart Medicine.  Regulus – (the star of kings) known as being the heart of the lion in the constellation of Leo,  is the most important of the 4 Royal Stars of Persia.  It relates to the healing Archangel Raphael, the watcher of the North. Some Astrologer’s have regarded Regulus as almost a planet itself. With the Full moOn on this auspicious Star in the sky, we can expect lots of things (that I will not focus on here), instead, I encourage you, my reader, to focus on your Heart, because that is ultimately the highest expression of this fruiting moment in time. As Regulus is conjunct this Full moOn, on the other side of the sky, with the Sun, there is quite a party of planets in Aquarius too…..and here is where we continue our exploration of today’s sky!

The Sun, which is of course directly opposing the moOn/Regulus at 29 degrees Leo is in Aquarius.  The Sun is also conjunct (and you can get a visual with the chart above, from left to right) Mercury, Mars, Neptune, and Chiron (who is actually in Pisces, not Aquarius….).  What does this all mean? I really like what Austin Coppick has to say about it:”

Mercury, Mars and the Sun are moving in relative unison right now, and the trio of planets are all on their way toward a conjunction with Neptune in Aquarius this week.  Neptune’s sodden palace of imagination, illusion, magick and dreams will be packed with planets.  This combination of energies sticks us on a cloud car straight into the strange heaven of our ideals, dropping us off in a glittering heavenly city.  We’ll strap on a pair of utopia-goggles and stare at the perfected version of our hopes and dreams.

The challenge issued this week is to bridge these abstract and idealistic meanderings in the City of Heaven with the world in which we live.  The Full Moon in Leo asks whether we can do this, querying whether the Sun in Aquarius can enact and fully represent the abstract ideas and ideals the Aquarian pile-up stimulates.  The Full Moon in Leo is a yearly event, but because of the stack of planets in Aquarius this go around, the tension between the abstract and the embodied is greater this year…”

(and he goes on….[btw, be looking for an interview with Austin on my podcast in the coming weeks. )

Throwing in my own thoughts and imaginings…..I feel that with Neptune involved with this Regulus powered Full moOn, it is also meant to bring us in touch with the shadow of our Dreams and Ideals too.  Maurice Fernandez, says that Neptune is “the End of Hope and the Beginning of Truth.” This sobering clause is a profound one.  It relates to what is! You cannot fight the oceanic powers of Neptune, for Neptune is no different the “God” (whatever that means to you…..). It’s the immense power and mystery of Life. To fight it, is to set yourself up for failure.  So….you might as well jump in the River.  Everyone else is doing it, why not you!? Don’t resist the Call.  Today, follow your Heart, follow the Call of the Wild, it will take you home.

….and…..I know…..sometimes, its hard to listen to our Hearts.  Culture has such a profound influence on our thought patterns, and what we think is right or wrong.  The way Neptune works (and I would say Chiron too, in a more subtle way) is through intuition, symbols, and dreams.  If you are feeling called to do something in your life right now, and you think its crazy, DO IT! Jupiter is in Aries for a reason! Take a chance, jump in the river, flow with the rest of the cosmic energies that are present.  These are not times of Stasis or Stagnancy.  These are times of great change and emergence.  So Emerge!!! Grow! Expand! Take a chance! Do the unpredictable! And make sure you don’t show this to your parents post…..k!!!

On a scientific/astronomical note:

A couple years ago, the sun went mysteriously quiet. Our star’s regular activity cycle appeared to have changed, and we had a long period in which sunspots, solar flares, and coronal mass ejections were few and far between.

But last year, things finally got back to normal and we started to see the uptick in solar activity that astronomers predict comes with this particular time in the sun’s 11-year activity cycle.

This week, the sun unleashed its most powerful solar flare since 2006. The flares occur when the sun’s magnetic field gets stretched to a breaking point by internal forces. As the magnetic force lines reconnect snap and then reconnect, they unleash massive amounts of energy. The image of the massive flare below was captured by NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory.

Sometimes, the flares are accompanied by coronal mass ejections, which are hot balls of gas that the sun sends blasting into the solar system. When one hits Earth, it can disrupt communications and do less serious things like cause beautiful auroras.

……cross your fingers, say your prayers, because we are all helpless in the presence of Our Creator; the Sun!!! May this Full mOOn in Leo simply be a Metaphorical Solar storm in the Heart of Man, instead of blackout and chaos.  May we all remember the Light from which we came.
Light = Love = You = Me = Life = Sun = Leo

Anti-Culture: Pluto in the 11th, Aquarius, Uranus/Saturn

Anti-Culture: Pluto in the 11th, Aquarius, Uranus/Saturn

“Culture is not your friend”

Terence Mckenna

We are all weird.  Some are faster to admit, but when it comes right down to it: we are all pretty damn weird. And what is weird, but different and wonderful. With Aquarius, the 11th house, and Uranus/Saturn we are dealing with what Jung called Individuation process.  Individuation–from what I understand (I’m no Jungian Psychologist)–is the movement towards our true (authentic) Self.  The movement can be scary–especially if our friends or culture don’t agree with our Truth.  When Pluto comes into the picture, we then experience the emotional trauma’s associated with this Archetype: like alienation, confusion, isolation and genius. Lets allow Jeff Green to illuminate:

Pluto in the Eleventh House or Aquarius: emotional trauma can occur for these individuals for the following causes:
1. When they realize that the lifestyle that they have been living is not reflective of their actual nature, or when their lifestyle is radically altered through cataclysmic events which they seem powerless to alter.
2. When they experience being intensely used and manipulated by others who have been considered friends or lovers, or when their friends or lovers seem to turn against them for no apparent or legitimate reason.
3. When the overall culture treats these people as iconoclastic threats in such a way as to create a reality for them of always being on the outside looking in.

When Pluto transits the Eleventh House, forms stressful aspects through transit to Uranus, to planets within the natal Eleventh House, or to the planetary ruler of the Eleventh House these issues and subsequent traumas can occur.

As Terence states in the opening quote, “Culture is not your friend,”  we must wake up to the limiting aspects of our culture, and become aware of how it limits our spirits from shining.  Culture is nothing more than a mental construct.  In many ways, it is shaped and catered towards fulfilling a mysterious “someones” needs.  For example, why, in our culture, are alocohol and tobacoo the only legal mind altering substances, when they cause more death combined than most forms of cancer? Is it not to propituate slumber and weakness in the masses…? All the while, the more constructive and liberating substances of the Earth are made illegal.  God forbide we see through the bullshit.  And so, when a person in our culture decides to live outside of the prescribed ways (ie. not drinking or smoking or participating in the madness) they are then alienated from a great majority of the culture.  It’s unfortunate, but true.  Pluto in the 11th challenges us to take the leap, no matter what the fight we are forced endure with our culture and friends.  With diligence, we can then breakthrough into our True Individuated state.  Only then do we have a future worth living for.

…to see outside the box

People with Pluto in the 11th:

(Bill Clinton, Woody Allen, Einstein, Nicole Kidman, Jeffery Dahmer, Indira Gandhi, Paul (a Beatle), Cat Stevens, Denzel Washington)

…think of what makes each of these charecters unique, and you’ve got it.

Curious about this in your our life (chart), I’m fully open to offer you a Reading….oOo
