Medical Qi Gong
“The wound is the place where the Light enters you.”
“Healing is a matter of time, but it is sometimes also a matter of opportunity. ”
Medical Qigong is an ancient form of Chinese energetic medicine, and is one of the four main branches of Chinese Medicine, along with acupuncture, herbal medicine, and medical massage. As with the other “Branches” of this Medicine, healing occurs through balancing QI–or the energy which surrounds and pervades all beings on the planet.
Why Balance QI?
Because throughout our lives, disruptions in the electromagnetic energy of the body occur as a result of crappy diet, laziness, injuries, surgeries, the suppression of emotions, and aging.
The Ultimate Goal of Medical Qi Gong:
To correct the energetic imbalances and blockages within the human being. By doing this, it allows the body to naturally regulate all of it’s organ’s, the nervous system, immune system, helping alleviate pain, regulate hormones, and strengthen the free and healthy flow of Qi between body, mind, and spirit.
What does it look like in action?
A Medical Qigong session is similar to an acupuncture treatment, just without the needles. The purpose is to bring balance back into the patient’s body. After the treatment the client will be given qigong practices to assist in their ongoing healing. The practices use physical movement, breathing methods and mental intention to correct and restore the function in the body.
…..Medical qigong is a complete system of health care that recognizes the root causes of symptoms or disease, and treats the client as a whole. Practiced as an excellent adjunct to Western medicine, it also can address imbalances that Western medicine cannot address…..
In China and more recently in the United States, doctors have applied qigong in hospitals and clinics to treat individuals suffering from a variety of ailments. Medical qigong therapy and prescriptions can be used to treat people with cancer and help reduce or eliminate side effects from radiation and chemotherapy. There are no limits to what Medical Qi Gong can treat, because there are no limits to what the human body can do.
