Lunar Eclipse “Arrow to the sky”
“A tramp, a gentleman, a poet, a dreamer, a lonely fellow, always hopeful of romance and adventure.” Charlie Chaplin
…striving for balance, dancing the spine of a primordial dragon, the winds are strong, karmic winds, Ka’s wind and we dive for the head, knowing we will not turn to stone, unafraid of breath’s of fire…..

Currently, we are navigating an Eclipse window. Sandwiched between two Eclipses–one Solar (May 20th), the other Lunar (June 4th)–we can sense the speed of the novelty train increasing it’s speed towards some sort of event horizon. It seems many have picked up strange illnesses within this Dragon hole. Mostly chest colds it seems–which is appropriate being that Gemini (last Eclipse) rules over the lungs. In our speedy world, it’s tough to do some things right. For example, in Tibetan Buddhism, they talk about the auspiciousness of meditation and retreat in these Eclipse window’s. How hard is that to create in our booked up calendrical day to day lives. And with Venus still retrograde, she is only exacerbating the karmic feelings of something massive coming at us just over the hill. She will transit the Sun just a day after this Eclipse we are about to explore. Together, they sing, “It’s a good time, a good time for evolving!”

“A good traveler has no fixed plans, and is not intent on arriving.” Lao Tzu
…reminds me of one of my favorite jokes:
“Wanna know how to make God laugh?”
A: “Tell him/her your plans”
The Virgo scoffs and turns his head…..

Sagittarius is all about the attainment of wisdom. How do we obtain this wisdom? Well, traveling is one way. Asking the “big questions” is another. Studying philosophy or religion can be another apt vehicle. And then there are the medicines. Ayahuasca, peyote, iboga, mushrooms, DMT. They can bring you there too. And in such a way that many would argue is needed at our current tipping point on planet Earth. They have a way of showing us exactly what we need to see and also feeling exactly what we need to feel, right when we need it most. Having been influenced greatly by these Earth medicines, I would have to agree. There is nothing that can show you your Divinity faster than a DMT flash. But it cannot be just that. There has to be integration. Practices like yoga, qi gong and meditation help in this integration. Being that this Lunar Eclipse is in Sagittarius, I feel like there is a crystallizing vision awaiting us, perhaps relating to what we experienced on the Solar Eclipse. Follow your heart, stumble through the dark, and say “Yes” to whatever comes your way.
The sabian symbol for this Eclipse reads:
Moon 14 plus Sag:
“The Ground Hog Looking For Its Shadow On Ground Hog Day”
“Is Spring coming early, or is it going to be delayed by 6 weeks?” “Is our vision on its way, a greater meaning to our life, or do I have to wait a little longer?” “Is my Soul mate going to appear on this Eclipse, or do I have to wait another 19 years?” All good questions, none relating to the moment. Cultivate patience. Realize eternity in your breath. Know, that the key to being a monk, is the monk-key!
Now, in opposition to the Lunar Eclipse, the Sun’s symbol reads:
Sun 14 plus Gemini:
“Two Dutch Children Talking To Each Other, Exchanging Their Knowledge”
“So you think you know?” Go to another land, drench yourself in another language, feel alone, be estranged, and start over. This Solar key to the Eclipse is clutch. True wisdom is experienced when we realize we know nothing. Language creates realities and when you don’t know the language, what reality are you in?
“I have a theory that the truth is never told during the nine-to-five hours.” Hunter S. Thomson
….break it. Cast yourself adrift. If you have a stirring, capture it. Point your Sag arrow to the sky and release it. Hunter may not be the best role model but he sure as hell beats ‘the suits.”…
As this Dragon hole closes, make sure you have integrated these lessons. Sit with your kosmic downloads from the previous Solar Eclipse; Sit deeper with your new ones; Realize how they are connected. Accept what is. Move forward. Eclipses are heightened times. Karmic times. Because they relate to the Nodes of the Moon, they relate to our evolution. And trust me, the God’s always want to see us evolve. It may not look like it in this moment, but trust it, you are soon to be walking softer on the golden road paved by dragon tears. Brave warrior share your story. Transcend your tale. Become a god yourself. You are learning how to ride dragon’s.
